My stay at Hotel Irma was good overall, particularly because of its fantastic location and really good dining options. However, I faced some challenges with the lack of a fridge and limited amenities in the room. Despite these minor issues, the view and service made my holiday nice.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and mine had a lovely view of the sea (I could see the waves right from my balcony!). However, I would have preferred a mini fridge and coffee maker for added convenience.
Service
9.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with any requests I had. I appreciated their warmth and professionalism throughout my stay.
Location
10.0
The location is perfect, set on a hill with amazing views and easy access to both beaches and the town. I enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and shops within minutes!
Dining
9.0
Dining at Hotel Irma was a highlight! The breakfast was especially great with freshly squeezed orange juice and an impressive variety of egg dishes. I particularly loved the clay pot eggs.
Facilities

While the hotel had a lovely pool and provided room service, I found the Wi-Fi limited to common areas, which was less than ideal. The decent facilities made my stay enjoyable, but a bit more variety wouldn't hurt.

I just wrapped up a two-week stay at Hotel Irma, and wow, what an experience! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from downtown Zihuatanejo, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The only hiccups were with the wifi in my room and the absence of a fridge, but that didn't really put a damper on my time there.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony facing the bay, but it could use a little more charm. A fridge would have been great for keeping drinks cool.
Service
10.0
The staff were simply fantastic! From daily chats with Yara, the GM, to the attentive service at the restaurant, I really felt taken care of. They were genuinely kind and accommodating throughout my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location is hard to beat; it’s close to both the beach and downtown. I could easily stroll to shops and restaurants without any hassle.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the food at the hotel, especially the breakfast, although I think they could offer a wider variety. The homemade ice cream was a nice touch too!
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, with good pool areas to relax, although I wish the pools stayed open later for some quiet time and maybe a few more amenities.

5.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Irma. The views were excellent, and the staff, particularly Yara, provided some of the best service I've had, making me feel like a valued guest. However, the room amenities left much to be desired; the bedding and bathroom facilities need significant upgrading, and I found the check-out experience frustrating due to unexpected charges. Overall, there's potential for a wonderful stay, but improvements are needed to align the offerings with the price point.

Rooms
6.0
The room had a great sea view but was quite basic and lacked modern amenities. The bedding was uncomfortable, and the bathroom lighting was dim, which made it feel dreary at times. A fridge would have been a nice addition, too.
Service
10.0
The service from the staff was fantastic, with warm and personable interactions throughout my stay. Yara, the general manager, stood out for her attentiveness and for providing a unique cultural experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel location offered really good ocean views and was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. However, be prepared for steep steps, which can be challenging.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was varied and delicious, with the wait staff being cheerful and efficient. However, I found the quality of the hotel food inconsistent, with a couple of meals not meeting my expectations.
Facilities
5.0
While the grounds and pools were beautiful, the lack of a fridge, limited water supply, and issues with room service were disappointing. The spa was an underrated gem, though.

My stay at Hotel Irma was mostly enjoyable, with some high points and a few minor setbacks. The staff, especially Yara, were incredibly attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my week. The breakfast was fantastic and the ocean views were amazing. However, I did encounter some issues with the towels and the pricing at checkout that left me a bit frustrated.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and comfortable, equipped with everything I needed, and offered a wonderful view over the ocean. However, I found the towels to be thin and raggedy at times, which was disappointing.
Service
9.0
The service was excellent. Yara went out of her way to assist with my requests and even improved my towel situation on day four. Overall, the staff treated me like royalty, which I really appreciated.
Location

I loved the location of Hotel Irma. It was within easy walking distance to downtown Zihuatanejo and the beaches. The quiet atmosphere was also a big plus, as there wasn't loud music or parties around.
Dining

Breakfast was one of the best experiences at the hotel. There were so many delicious dishes to choose from, and the service was fast and friendly. I'd definitely recommend having breakfast here.
Facilities

The hotel had beautiful pools with million-dollar views. However, I did find the amenities a bit limited in terms of room features like no fridge or kettle, which would have been nice.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Irma, where the views from my room were amazing, overlooking the bay and La Madera beach. The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk from two beautiful beaches and the vibrant downtown area. The staff provided really good service, making me feel right at home. However, the bed could use some improvement, and the food was merely good but didn’t stand out. Overall, it was a good experience! 🌅😊

Rooms

The room I stayed in had an amazing view, but the bed was not the most comfortable. It was clean and well-maintained, though some amenities could be enhanced.
Service

The staff, especially Isaac and the housekeeper Rosa, were excellent! They made my stay feel special with their friendly service and attention to detail.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, being close to Playa La Ropa and the malecon, allowing easy access to beaches and dining places.
Dining
7.0
The on-site restaurant offered good food at reasonable prices, although it wasn't extraordinary. There were also many great dining options nearby.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had lovely pools and outdoor spaces. However, maintenance was ongoing, which sometimes made navigating the hotel a bit tricky.
